Meet Josslyn

Hi I'm Joss,
Geelong based Trauma Specialist Somatic Sexological Bodyworker & hands on healer.
I provide trauma informed, somatic sex coaching and bodywork to individuals and couples. I also provide medium to longer term counselling to people living with trauma.  
 

I'm passionate about teaching individuals and couples to experience a deeper sense of connection to their bodies, themselves and each other. 

Outside of my interest in trauma, healing and sexual health I am writer, avid ocean swimmer, parent to two boys and two dogs. I am also an experienced trainer and group facilitator.

Counselling​

I am a certified counsellor with over 10 years' experience working with clients of all ages. For the past 6 years the focus of my work has been supporting adult clients to heal from interpersonal trauma, primarily sexual assault and family violence. I work with a range of modalities including EMDR, internal family systems, somatic therapies, Havening Techniques,  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. ​​Information is power. A big part of the work I do with clients is what we call "psycho-education." This means providing you with information about how what you have experienced can impact your brain, emotions, behaviour based on neuropsychological research.

Somatic Sexology 

Together we will learn about your unique sexual identity, your body and nervous system, arousal patterns and experience of pleasure. We will go slow and co-create our sessions. ​

Through the use of sex education, somatic attunement, touch, breath work, and movement I aim to assist client's to improve sexual functioning, enhance sensation and experience more pleasure.

Energy Healing ​

I am a trained Reiki practitioner (Level 3) with 20 years experience providing intuitive healing touch. Although Reiki is my foundation I also utilise techniques from other somatic healing and bodywork traditions. All healing bodywork is completed fully clothed.
